it started off as a castlevania like game
taking place in a tower
but i was sick of animating stuff and changed it to bullet hell game.
taking place in a dark blue void
(the gradient void destroyed the framerate)

the two characters are naked.
it helps them dodge better.
ok enuf sed about dem.

mang, the way i program flash games is too too slow...
crap framerate sorry
though it is what i learned first in like 7th grade.
so it feels the easiest

maybe its time to go actionscript 3.0...

played with PxTone for a few experimental projects and one song considered ... meh complete (called Aqua, accessible only a few of my friends ohoho) before making this song

this game can be two player.

(it might be harder, it might be easier, depends on the situation, mostly it will be harder, but i think it is definitely COOLER)

and this brings me to the topic of CONTROLS

i highly recommend breaking out that spare keyboard for the second player. because this game is rather control heavy.

i suggest setting the controls so that each player can both hold down slowdown and dash and hold two of their arrow keys and the keyboard can register them all.

(it is quite tricky on a single standard keyboard.
it probably needs the usage of shift and control.
i have not found a good setup
i set up the key config screen so you can see all the keys being registered.)

FINAL NOTE

there are messages at the end of the mode when you clear it.
one for each difficulty.
it will be a nice way of telling me you have reached the end of a certain difficulty.

i can easily and consistently beat up easy and normal mode
losing minimal lives
lunatic actually gives me a hard time.

i only reached the end once.
but it is very possible.
i have beat each individual stage at least once without losing life. but not when they are all in a row
i have trouble focusing for a long time ahahaha (like i have trouble focusing in Tetris Grand Master Death Mode)

i am most interested in someone that can reach the end of LUNATIC, TELL ME THE MESSAGE :>

about framerate, hopefully your computer can run this at full speed. at least on medium quality.
i would consider(at the end screen) a speed percentage of 99.5% or better is legit.
maybe 99.0%
but anything less might mean heavy slowdown, especially only on hard parts, since it averages total framerate.
but oh well, it cant be helped... i am not an efficient flash programmer. (or so it seems maybe it is just the language)

it was not as clear as i thought,

on the key config screen you click the top two buttons for the character's names and you can set the keys for each one!!

i have added a sign in the game to try to clarify things

oh dam it doesnt even set ..
it used to..
i will try to fix that immediately


I BELIEVE THE KEYCONFIG WORKS NOW
I remember turning it off at some point for some reason and i forgot to test if i turned it back on correctly..
